The Virgin StartUp Community is digital membership for aspiring founders and early-stage businesses in the UK looking to connect, share, learn and grow. Our community exists for founders and mentors who are passionate about building better businesses.
The Virgin StartUp Community has membership options tailored to fit the needs of founders at different stages of their journey.
Community Lite and the How to build a business course, are both perfect for aspiring founders and those at idea stage.
The Virgin StartUp Community option is for startups and early-stage founders looking for support to grow their business.
We have both monthly and annual membership options so founders can select memberships tailored to their business needs.
We have advisors covering all key areas founder needs support when starting a business, from general business advice to funding, brand, marketing, sustainability, legal and more.
All advisor spaces have either weekly or bi-weekly sessions available and these are on a first-come basis. We do however ask that founders are respectful of other members, are mindful of the number of calls they are booking and cancel within 48 hours if they are no longer able to attend.
We have at least 1 mentor office hour per week with founders of well-known brands or industry leaders, again these calls are on a first-come basis. They’re advertised on the community in advance, so founders know what’s coming up that month, then the booking links go live on the main feed.
Every month we have an in-person changemaker event, this is hosted in the Virgin HQ in Central London. The format of this event is a fireside chat with Q&A followed by community networking.
Previous guests have included founders of brands such as NEOM, Wild, Too Good To Go, Joe Wicks and The Body Coach, Grind and Simon Squibb is kicking off 2025.
We also run monthly online workshops to deep dive into all the key building blocks of starting and scaling a business.
On top of that premium community members get the opportunity to access community exclusive events with special guests. Previous exclusives have included meet the author event with Holly Branson and Steven Bartlett, Virgin StartUp’s 10 year anniversary with Simon Sinek and Holly Branson, the Fiverr X Virgin StartUp Female Founders competition and the founders Christmas Party.
