Global thought leader, unshakeable optimist, founder and best-selling author, Simon Sinek, will join Virgin StartUp for an evening of conversation on 30th September.
In a rare and intimate setting, Virgin StartUp welcomes Simon to our digital MeetUp stage to find out his why. 28 million people have tuned in to watch Simon’s TED Talk, the third most popular ever, based on his sell-out book, Start With Why. His thinking has inspired countless founders to build businesses that hold purpose at their core.
At our next MeetUp, we want to uncover what Simon’s insights and experience tell us about how to build and lead effective teams, what drives consumer behaviour, and why we should all feel optimistic about the future of business.
Simon has dedicated his career to understanding the people and teams behind the organisations on a mission to change the world, and we want to use our time to explore themes of purpose, organisational culture, consumerism and wider society - as we hear from Simon in an unfiltered setting, hosted by Ben Keene.
What Will Happen On The Night?
Our MeetUps are designed for digital, and free to attend. A time for our community to come together, learn from experts, founders and each other, to find inspiration and guidance, and to come away with practical solutions to act on.
After a brief introduction, you’ll hear from Simon on our Main Stage, interviewed by Virgin StartUp Mentor, Ben Keene. There’ll be a chance for audience questions before we break out into post-panel sessions, where you can take time to reflect on the interview, explore the themes of the discussion, ask questions of each other and learn more about Virgin StartUp.
Each MeetUp lasts 2 hours and you’ll be able to experience it from the comfort of your own home. We use a platform called Hopin, which you’ll need a free account on to join the event.
