Meet Roger Wade, founder of London’s coolest pop up shopping mall, BoxPark. Since launching in 2011 it’s created a frenzy of fans that love the mix of small and big brands it houses in its trademark shipping containers. This thriving home of creativity isn’t Roger’s first business. Before this he grew and sold iconic British fashion brand, Boxfresh.  This is how he runs his business.

My Boxpark Shoreditch office is in a shipping container.

My Brighton office is quiet, private and bright !


How do you make sure you achieve your goals each day?

I make an email list with job priorities and long term goals.

 

Do you have a motto that you live by?

Don’t be frightened of change.

Risk is your friend.

What gadget can you not live without (not allowed to say phone or computer)?

My Roberts radio, I love a bit of Chris Evans on Radio 2 in the morning

 

What is the main personality trait that’s helped your business to be successful and why?

Persistence.

What do you listen to while you work? 

Spotify radio, currently listening to Bill Withers.

Don’t compromise your own brand values

Steve Jobs. He was an inspirational leader and visionary who has changed the world for the better!
