Programme details

The Investment Ready Bootcamp takes place over 3 or 4 days. Each day consists of workshops and sessions delivered from 9:30 to 16:00 with an hour lunch break.

Day 1 

  • The funding landscape: Learn about the different types of funding available to startups, and how to choose the right one for your business.
  • Investment readiness: Get your business ready for investment by understanding what investors are looking for and how to present your business to them.
  • How to build a pitch deck investors love: Learn how to create a compelling pitch deck that will capture investors' attention and get them excited about your business.

Day 2

  • Where and how to find Angel Investors: Learn how to identify and approach angel investors, and how to pitch your business to them.
  • Crowdfunding: Understand the different types of crowdfunding, and how to run a successful crowdfunding campaign.
  • Alternative funding: Learn about some of the alternative funding options available to startups, such as government grants and loans.

Day 3 

  • Financial planning for growth: Get your financial model ready so you can track your progress and make sure you're on track to achieve your goals.
  • Due diligence and term sheets: Understand the due diligence process and how to negotiate term sheets with investors.

Day 4 (*Pro programme only) 

  • Pitch deck review: Get feedback on your pitch deck from experienced founders and investors.
  • Pitch practice: Interactive workshop to practice your pitch with your peers.
  • Pitch panel: Pitch your business to a panel of investors and get valuable feedback.

What is the Investment Ready Bootcamp?

Our Investment Ready Bootcamp is your fast-track ticket to understanding the world of startup funding. We've taken the essentials from our 7-week accelerator and packed them into a bootcamp that's all about getting you ready to win over investors. We'll show you how to present your business in the best light, where to find investors who'll vibe with your vision, and the savvy ways to engage them. Get clued in, get funded.

What are the eligibility criteria?

Any UK-based founder wanting to raise money in the UK is eligible to apply.  

I've got a brilliant co-founder - can they join?

The programme cost is per participant, so they can join, but they must also register and pay the programme fee.  

What is the format?

All sessions are delivered online via Zoom over the course of 3 or 4 days, depending on the programme you sign up for. 

How much time do I need to give to the programme?

Depending on if you sign up for the 3 day or 4 day programme, you will need to attend full day workshops each day from 9:30am to 4:00pm. 

How much does the programme cost to participate?

There are two versions of the programme on offer:

Investment Ready: 3 days, £799+VAT

Pro: 4 days, £999+VAT, everything in the 3 days programme plus an additional day of pitch training and pitch practice to our expert panel

 

If I take part does this guarantee investment in my business?

We can't guarantee investment after taking part, but you can be sure we'll give you the tools, skills, networks and support to give you the best possible chance. You got this.
