Our flagship event Doing Business with Big Business is an invaluable opportunity for startups to learn about procurement directly from major brands.

Working with a big business can be amazing opportunity when you’re a small business – it can give you the platform, confidence, and resources to quickly fast-track your growth. But how can you find the right person to get in touch with, and how best to approach them? Sometimes it's best to learn from the experts.

We're thrilled then to announce that the first speaker for our July 27th event is the Senior Beauty and Fragrance Buyer at John Lewis. We’re keeping their name top secret in case they’re inundated with LinkedIn requests (you’ll have to come along to find it out!). But we can reveal that their extremely impressive experience also includes leading on strategy and introducing flagship retail concepts, as well as previous stints as a buyer at other major household names, including Harrods.

This is a brilliant chance in particular for beauty and skincare brands, brands interested in being stocked in major department stores, and brands with a luxury proposition.

Stay tuned for more speaker announcements – there are some exciting ones yet to come!
