In January, Virgin StartUp hosted Simon Squibb to the brand spanking new Virgin HQ in London to be our first Changemaker of 2025.

And Simon didn't disappoint.

During the interview with host, Natalie Pearce, Simon shared his challenging journey from becoming an entrepreneur at 15 due to homelessness, to founding Help Bank to help 10 million people in starting businesses.

Simon discussed the importance of tapping into your entrepreneurial muscle, the distinction between dreams and purpose, and the value of asking for help.

He showed us that execution is as crucial as ideas, and told the room of founders to follow their passions rather than just filling market gaps.

Simon also touches on the significance of trademarking and networking to make ideas successful.

His mantra 'Give without take' resonated with everyone in the room, and he stayed behind until the last question had been asked from the audience. Oh - and selfies for everyone was also on the menu.
