We're on a mission to help more women start businesses  

Women own 37% of businesses globally, but we know there’s thousands more smart women with big ideas in the world that could be running start-up businesses.  Over the last year we've funded 120 women led businesses, giving out £930,000 in the process - but we're nowhere near finished yet. 

To showcase this, we hosted the first Virgin StartUp Ignition: business tricks and insight for amazing women. Over 150 entrepreneurs came together to celebrate women being their own boss and to hear advice on starting up by speakers including Jacqueline Gold, CEO of Ann Summers, founder of WAH Nails, Sharmadean Reid and children’s nutrition expert Annabel Karmel.
