Virgin StartUp partners with Youth Business International to help more entrepreneurs
We’re thrilled to announce Virgin StartUp has joined forces with Youth Business International.
YBI is one of the world’s most successful entrepreneurship development organisations and inspired 14,406 young people to launch their own businesses last year.
We’ll be working closely with the YBI to turn job seekers into job creators throughout England and will be drawing upon its experience of helping young entrepreneurs in over 40 countries.
As part of the new partnership, Youth Business International will support our mission to create new businesses and Virgin StartUp will contribute our own expertise to the YBI network, which will help entrepreneurs all over the world grow new businesses.
“Virgin Start Up is a strong and expert partner for YBI and will help to fulfil our mission of tackling youth unemployment on a global scale,” said YBI Director of Network Expansion, Dianne Cornes. “YBI will gain valuable insights from our new partner and together we will improve the outcomes for young entrepreneurs around the world.”
Mei Shui, Managing Director of Virgin Start Up, said: “We want to inspire and empower the next generation of entrepreneurs and, in the process, help them create thousands of new businesses. Working with Youth Business International will help us to achieve this goal, through supporting our emphasis on quality services for entrepreneurs and allowing us to learn from good practice around the world.”
