Vote for your favourite startup story
One of the most crucial aspects of pitching your business is knowing how to share your startup story – the reasons you started up, your journey, why it matters to you. It’s a way to attract people’s interest in your business, and to demonstrate your passion for what you do.
As part of our event to celebrate Women’s Entrepreneurship Day on the 19th November - Virgin StartUp Ignition: business tricks and insight for amazing women – we will be hosting a workshop on sharing your startup story – and one person will get a chance to share their own startup story with the experts, learning how best to tell it. But who will it be?
This is where you come in. We asked our entrepreneurs to send us their stories. It was a tough choice whittling them down, but we managed it, and now our shortlist is ready for your expert eyes! It’s time to get reading…
Louise-Amy Etchells, Time-Saving Heroes
Clare Toole, The Bridal Emporium
The blog post that receives the most unique views by Friday 14th November at 1pm will win an invaluable chance to share their startup story directly with Louise Court, the UK editor of Cosmopolitan; Rose Price, the head buyer of Ocado; and Lisa Sohanpal, founder of children’s food brand Mini Nom Noms.
Don’t forget to share your support for the story you want to win by tweeting, sharing, and telling everyone about it! Good luck!
