We funded an entrepreneur and now we're sending him to Necker Island

Nathaniel Peat is an entrepreneur from London who took out a £10,000 Virgin StartUp loan to boost his business. Now, we’re sending him on an all-expenses-paid trip to Necker Island to hang out with Sir Richard Branson.

He’s the co-founder of Gennex, a solar energy company that provides solutions that benefit people all over the world. Running a business with a deep social foundation was the reason he won our competition to find a Virgin StartUp funded business that’s, ‘doing well, by doing good.’

This means he’ll be attending a Leadership Gathering of business heads, entrepreneurs and philanthropists who share our belief that entrepreneurial ideas, coupled with the right people, can create positive change around the world.

Here's a video demonstrating what Gennex do.

Hosted by Sir Richard Branson, the five-day trip will include talks from several word-class speakers, discussing how disruptive thinking and entrepreneurial approaches can create opportunities for a better world.

Nathaniel will get the unique opportunity to present his ideas to a group of senior influencers and pick the brains of some of the brightest and most talented people in the world. We’re enormously proud.
