We’re looking for startups to supply Virgin Hotels and Virgin Atlantic
We’re searching for the best new food and drink businesses to supply Virgin Hotels and Virgin Atlantic.
British startups are among the best in the world, and we’re on a mission to help them be even greater. The new expanding US-based Virgin Hotels agree and have put a call out to find British startups to fill its mini-bars and line its menus. The first hotel opened in Chicago last year and has proven a huge success - this is now going to replicated across the country. Which means if you’re sold through Virgin Hotels, your products could one day be found on sale in Virgin Hotels New York, Palm Springs, Nashville, Dallas and more.
On top of that, Virgin Atlantic is looking for British exporters to pitch unique products to surprise and delight passengers on its trans-Atlantic routes. For both of these opportunities it's quirky, innovative products with a purpose that are on the wish list. If that sounds like a product you’re working on, then register for the Virgin StartUp newsletter via this link and you’ll be notified when the opportunities are live. This is a game-changing opportunity for a small British startup. It’s not just open to businesses with experience of exporting - this is also a chance that could help an entrepreneur export abroad for the first time. The US is the UK’s top export destination. It’s the largest and most competitive economy in the world and is ranked the fourth easiest country to do business with. On top of this it has a huge appetite for British businesses. We saw this first hand when we visited on a recent trade-mission to Chicago and Minneapolis where we took the winners of the Virgin StartUp Foodpreneur Festival 2015 to pitch to major US retailer Target. Of the four businesses that joined us on the trip, three of them are now working with Target to set up in-store trials.
